The humidy hangs in the air among the rain. A very bizarre breed of weather. I cannot fathom the fact that it is almost the middle of July? I cannot recall what I have done....Bye bye birdie...Pointe classes with the two Kates....classes....volunteering at the library, CVM,.....work...ugh....CVTG summer drama classes and camp....internship with Feingold/Dem. Headquarters....reading Tennesse Williams...rehershals....rehershals....listening to John Coltrane....reading more Tennesse Williams I would like, wait I would love, to attend Interlochen arts camp next summer, it is for eight weeks and I feel that it would be a fabulous opportunity to grow as an actor and as a person. Northwestern's theater institute sounded intensive and educational also. Bastille days was yesterday and it went okay for the YAC performance. I was rather nervous about how it would turn out. The rest of the day Julie, Sam and I sat in the park ate French food and read. Julie is such an amazing person. She is mature years beyond her age. I enjoy talking to her, she is creative and has many opinions and great ideas about art and other random things. It was a beautiful day yesterday. I read
The Eccentrects of a Nightengale
by Tennesse Williams. It is another version of
Summer and Smoke
according to the preface Williams likes Nightengale better than Summer. Tennesse is a fabulous name. Gus and I stayed at the park until 3 then I had to leave. It was beautiful yesterday. Mom, John and Conrad went to the cabin, while I went to work and served gluttonous food. I should be thankful for my job rather than loathing it. The money I earn there will hopefully send me to someplace fabulous and enriching next summer, I hope. Emily is going to Oregon. It is beautiful there. Her sister is a park ranger, so she is going to visit her. When Dad, Conrad and I went on the rafting trip down the DeShouts ( I cannot spell) river it an experience. The water was crystal clear and freezing. I will never forget the sand. Everywhere.
Sand...

-in your toothbrush
-in your soul

I love you all.
